This Privacy Policy describes how Erica Trestyn, LCSW(“we,” “us,” or “Erica”) handles information collected through this website. It applies to this site only, not to therapy services, which are governed separately by the practice’s HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices and your treatment agreement.
Information we collect
We collect the details you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), your preferred method of contact, how you heard about the practice, and your message. Please do not include sensitive health information in the contact form.
We also collect limited, anonymized usage data through analytics (see “Cookies and analytics” below) to understand how the site is used.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and, if appropriate, follow up about scheduling.
- To understand and improve how the website performs.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it except as needed to operate the site (for example, our email and hosting providers) or where required by law.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to collect aggregate, anonymized information about visits (such as pages viewed and general location). Analytics may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Data retention
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to respond and maintain our records, then delete them. Analytics data is retained per the analytics provider’s standard settings.
Your choices
You may request that we access, correct, or delete the information you submitted through the contact form. To make a request, or if you have any questions about this policy, contact us at erica [at] ericatrestynlcsw.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
